Start Your Business was founded by David Chesters, who wanted to leverage over 40 years of experience as a business advisor, financial consultant, and coach to help aspiring entrepreneurs take their first steps with confidence. The goal was to create a brand that would feel approachable, trustworthy, and professional while standing out in a sector often dominated by corporate and traditional visual identities.
Our work for Start Your Business included a complete visual identity system, logo design, brand guidelines, website design and development, social media launch assets, and supporting marketing materials to help establish a consistent and professional presence across Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.

/ the moment an idea leaves the ground and begins its journey. Inspired by the hot air balloon, the concept represents ambition, guidance, growth, and the confidence to start something new.
Our concept, 'Taking Flight', was inspired by the moment a new business idea leaves the ground and begins its journey. We explored the emotions of ambition, optimism, uncertainty, and growth associated with starting a business and translated these into a visual identity centred around the hot air balloon. Symbolising guidance, perspective, and forward momentum, the balloon became a distinctive and memorable representation of the support SYB provides to new business owners.
