Project Trinity: Does Nightmares

Project Brief

Project: Trinity Does Nightmares

What do you get when you combine music, graphics and a charitable goal? Project Trinity is a series of audiovisual, multi collaborative events in aid of homelessness charity, The Booth centre. We were asked to help promote and deliver this unique musical event.

Project: Trinity Does Nightmares was the second even in the series of events organised by music composer Nicole Lane, and took place on Halloween 2018 inside Saint Trinity Church. Spooky!

In order to promote the event. we were in charge of producing the posters and leaflets for print, as well as the digital marketing materials, such as social media banners and content for online posts.

The final event poster used some visual elements connected to the event's venue (the church windows) remind of old horror movies posters, together with a highly modern, distorted, techno typeface, to reflect the eclect mix of electronic music with classical instrumental tunes.

The leaflets for the event were also Halloween-themed. We played with the idea of ‘haunted‘ paper. The ghost appears on both sides of the paper, and her face is revealed when holding the paper up to the light.

For the actual event visuals, we created graphics for projection and projection mapping (living paintings, anyone?).

We've also collaborated with freelance animator Ben Young on a short animation piece to accompany the whimsical work of music composer James Booth. Check it out below.
